[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Air Busan will resume flights on the Busan-Guam route starting April 30.
Air Busan announced that it will increase the Busan-Guam route to twice a week, expanding the air route from Gimhae Airport.
The schedule includes flights twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays, departing from Gimhae International Airport at 8:05 AM and arriving at the local airport at 1:05 PM. The return flight departs the local airport at 3:05 PM and arrives at Gimhae International Airport at 6:30 PM.
The flight time takes about 4 hours, and Air Busan’s latest aircraft, the ‘A321neo,’ will be deployed.
Air Busan stated, “With the government implementing quarantine exemption measures for domestic travelers who have completed vaccination abroad, inquiries about Guam travel are expected to surge.”
Air Busan decided to resume flights on the Busan-Guam route as travel demand is expected to recover significantly, following the quarantine authorities and related ministries’ decision to increase flights once a week and the easing of domestic and international quarantine measures.
Upon entering Guam, passengers must carry ▲an English certificate of completed vaccination ▲a negative COVID-19 antigen test result or PCR test result issued within one day of the departure date to enter without quarantine.
The Guam Visitors Bureau supports the cost of PCR tests required for Korean travelers upon return.

An Air Busan official said, “Following Saipan, the Guam flights will also operate twice a week, and Gimhae Airport is expected to gradually regain vitality. As Air Busan has steadfastly maintained Gimhae Airport, we will do our best to relieve the thirst for overseas travel with more international flights.”
Air Busan plans to deploy the latest aircraft A321neo on the ▲Busan-Guam route ▲Busan-Saipan route to provide a comfortable and cozy cabin environment.
The ‘A321neo’ aircraft offers wider seat spacing and less noise compared to other low-cost carriers’ aircraft, providing passengers with a pleasant cabin atmosphere. All seats are equipped with USB charging ports, enhancing passenger convenience.
