Limited 6,000 Discount Coupons Provided When Linked with Public Delivery App Meokkebi
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] Gumi City in Gyeongbuk Province will issue 10 billion KRW worth of card-type Gumi Sarang Gift Certificates.
Starting from March 2, Gumi City will issue 10 billion KRW worth of Gumi Sarang Gift Certificates and offer a special 10% discount for purchases up to 400,000 KRW per person until the gift certificates are sold out.
This initiative aims to revive the frozen local consumer sentiment, reduce damages to small business owners, and inject vitality into the local economy.
The card-type Gumi Sarang Gift Certificates can be purchased through KT’s ‘Chakhan Pay’ app.
This time, in connection with the public delivery app ‘Meokgaebi,’ customers who pay with the Gumi Sarang Card when ordering will receive a 1,000 KRW discount coupon, limited to the first 6,000 cases on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Gumi Sarang Gift Certificates can be used at about 14,000 affiliated stores within the city, and affiliated stores can be checked through the Gumi City Hall website and the Gumi Sarang Gift Certificate app.
