LG Electronics Strengthens North American Market Push with Customized Air Conditioning Solutions

Showcasing Various HVAC Solutions at North America's Largest HVAC Expo, AHR Expo 2022

LG Electronics is showcasing a wide range of space-customized air conditioning solutions at AHR Expo 2022, North America's largest HVAC exhibition, held in Las Vegas, USA, until the 2nd local time. A model is introducing the Dedicated Outdoor Air System (DOAS), which won the AHR Expo 2022 Innovation Award for its differentiated technology and design.

On the 2nd, LG Electronics announced that it will showcase a large number of innovative air conditioning products at 'AHR Expo 2022,' the largest air conditioning exhibition in North America held in Las Vegas. At a booth approximately 660㎡ in size, LG will introduce its 2022 commercial and residential air conditioning solutions, including the Outdoor Air Dedicated Air Conditioning System (DOAS), which won the AHR Expo 2022 Innovation Award for its differentiated technology and design, as well as system air conditioners and solutions that control system air conditioners.

The newly introduced Outdoor Air Dedicated Air Conditioning System is a commercial ventilation system that provides innovative customer value by simultaneously controlling the temperature and humidity of indoor air in buildings or facilities through dehumidification, cooling, and heating functions. It is equipped with a heat recovery device to minimize energy loss.

The 'Inverter Scroll Heat Pump Chiller' is a large commercial air conditioning system that supplies heating, cooling, and chilled/hot water. By applying LG Electronics' advanced inverter technology, its performance and energy efficiency have been significantly improved. LG Electronics' flagship system air conditioner, 'Multi V,' stands out in the commercial air conditioning market by delivering optimal heating and cooling according to the size, characteristics, and purpose of the building. The independently developed high-efficiency inverter compressor enhances the performance and energy efficiency of Multi V. This product automatically detects not only indoor and outdoor temperatures but also humidity, increasing energy savings while providing more comfortable cooling.

Additionally, the 'Inverter Heat Pump Water Heater' is a product aimed at the North American residential market. This product has obtained the Energy Star certification awarded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for high-efficiency products and operates quietly at 42dB.

Using LG Electronics' smart home platform LG ThinQ app, it is convenient to remotely monitor and control air conditioning solutions such as commercial system air conditioners and ventilation devices as well as residential ones.
