This event commemorates the hands of members leading the culture of sharing. It was promoted as 13 Honor Society members?Lee Sookhee, Kim Sungjin, Kim Gapju, Kim Sangcheol, Kim Jihyun, Park Gichang, Kim Seunghwi, Lee Youngwoong, Woo Myunghee, Jung Bokyung, Song Younghan, Moon Jihoon, and Jo Baekyun?fully paid their pledged donation of 100 million won.
To celebrate the full payment of the pledged donation and the hand printing event, Gwangju Community Chest of Korea Chairman Han Sangwon and Gwangju Honor Society Chairman Koo Jegil attended together.
Also attending were the main figures of the event: Lee Sookhee, CEO of Green ENS Co., Ltd.; Kim Sungjin, CEO of Y-MART; Kim Gapju, CEO of Dume Food System Co., Ltd.; Kim Sangcheol, CEO of WCP Company; member Kim Jihyun; Park Gichang, CEO of Seonjin Construction Co., Ltd.; and Kim Seunghwi, chief lawyer of Law Firm Ewus.
Even after the full payment of the donation, they promised to promote the recruitment of new Honor Society members and to continue practicing sharing.
Lee Youngwoong, chairman of Rizel Civil Housing, and Woo Myunghee, vice chairman (a couple who are Honor Society members), Jung Bokyung, chairman of Parkinson Happiness Shelter, Song Younghan, CEO of Hangil Industry, and Moon Jihoon, CEO of Dain Construction, conducted separate hand printing.
Meanwhile, the Honor Society is a group of high-value individual donors of the Community Chest of Korea.
Members qualify by pledging to pay 100 million won or more either in a lump sum or within five years to solve community problems and lead the maturation of the donation culture, thereby promoting the development of the social community.
In the Gwangju area, starting with the first member joining in 2010, a total of 127 members have been leading the culture of sharing in the region.
