[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] Ssangyong Motor announced on the 22nd that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for technical cooperation with China’s Findreams Industry to independently produce battery packs.
The company stated, "As part of responding to the reduction in demand for internal combustion engine vehicles due to the promotion of carbon neutrality and greenhouse gas reduction, and the increase in demand for electric vehicles," adding, "We will secure market competitiveness through the launch of electric vehicles."
