[Asia Economy Reporter Tae-min Ryu] Kolon Global announced that it will open the model house for ‘Daejeon Haneulchae Sky& 2nd Phase,’ being built in Seonhwa-dong, Jung-gu, Daejeon, on the 17th.
Daejeon Haneulchae Sky& 2nd Phase will be constructed with 5 basement floors and up to 49 floors above ground. It will consist of a total of 793 units, including 743 apartments with a net area of 84㎡ and 50 officetel units. Together with the 1st phase (1,080 units) currently under construction, it will form a large-scale Haneulchae brand town with 1,873 units.
The average sale price per 3.3㎡ is set at 14.1 million KRW, and for the first time in Daejeon’s sale complexes, it includes lottery-based allocations for first-time homebuyers and newlywed special supply quotas.
A Kolon Global official stated, “We expect high interest from the younger generation due to the affordable sale price compared to surrounding market prices and the special supply lottery quotas. With the selection of the area as an urban convergence special district, improvements in living infrastructure are anticipated, and the planned metropolitan railway also adds to the future value.”
Applications will be accepted starting with the special supply on the 27th, followed by 1st priority local applicants on the 28th, and 1st priority other area applicants on the 29th. The winners will be announced on the 5th of next month. Move-in is scheduled for April 2025.
The model house is located in the Bongmyeong-dong area of Yuseong-gu, Daejeon. To prevent and contain COVID-19 infections, it operates by prior reservation, and an online model house using VR will also be available.
