[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Juhyung] Comedian Kang Seongbeom unleashed criticism toward former People Power Party lawmaker Yoon Heesook. He pointed out that declaring 'political participation' less than three months after voluntarily stepping down due to real estate-related allegations is an act lacking shame.
On the 13th, Kang Seongbeom uploaded a video titled "Ms. Yoon Heesook! That's not how you do it" on his YouTube channel 'Kang SeongbeomTV'.
In the video, Kang said, "Ms. Yoon Heesook. Since you're no longer a lawmaker, it's okay to call you 'Ms.' now," adding, "You rose as a tenant and made your name by attacking Lee Jae-myung. Ms. Yoon declared her political participation less than three months after giving up her National Assembly seat due to her father's land speculation allegations."
He continued, "Ajumma! Ah, I shouldn't say ajumma. Ms. Yoon, isn't this too soon?" and "It's less than three months, isn't it a bit embarrassing to come back into politics? Of course, I know that People Power Party is not a group that cares about such things. But isn't this going too far?"
Kang said, "Either quit politics or basically take about two years of self-reflection. At least act like you're reflecting for about a year," and criticized, "Just as Jin Joong-kwon levels up by criticizing Yoo Si-min, she acts as if she is on the same level as him (Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party presidential candidate)."
Regarding Yoon's remark that "Candidate Lee Jae-myung should have been politically dead long ago because he treats the law lightly," Kang responded, "Whatever the reason, if there was a crime, Candidate Lee Jae-myung would have been punished by now," and "Ms. Yoon has not been part of the group she relies on, which can cover up most crimes, and since she was a minority, she lived on the sidelines, just watching carefully."

He added, "Don't just attach any words. There are people who check these things," and scolded, "If you want to see what kind of person typically treats the law lightly, look at the suspicions surrounding the person you regard as a presidential candidate (Yoon Seok-youl of the People Power Party), his wife, and his mother-in-law."
Former lawmaker Yoon Heesook serves as the chairperson of the 'Tomorrow's Korea Committee' (Naegidae Committee), a direct organization under Yoon Seok-youl's election campaign headquarters. The Naegidae Committee plans to hold its launch ceremony live on the People Power Party's YouTube channel 'Oreun Sori' on the afternoon of the 14th.
Yoon's political move comes about three months after stepping down due to her father's alleged violation of the Farmland Act.
In this regard, on the 10th, Yoon posted on her Facebook, "After much consideration, I proposed the 'Naegidae Committee' as the best way to support candidate Yoon Seok-youl," adding, "The goal is to build consensus on what changes the era demands and what changes toward the future should be, and to maximize the alignment with national governance planning."
In the post, she also criticized candidate Lee Jae-myung. Yoon said, "It is noticeable that the candidate claims to be an economic president, but what is truly important is the meaning of the 'Lee Jae-myung' phenomenon in Korean society," and "What caught my eye is how he tries to cover that up with the small lie of being an economic president."
