[Hampyeong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 12th that it will recruit 1,500 participants for the 2022 Senior Job Project.

The recruitment for this senior job project will take place over six days from the 10th to the 17th and is divided into three categories: public interest activities (1,409 people), social service type (75 people), and market type (16 people).

After selection, participants will be assigned to the eup/myeon offices, the Hampyeong-gun branch of the Korea Senior Citizens Association, Hampyeong Senior Welfare Center, and Hampyeong Cultural Center.

The selection criteria require applicants to be basic pension recipients aged 65 or older residing in Hampyeong-gun as of the announcement date. The county plans to select candidates based on high scores according to the Ministry of Health and Welfare's senior job project selection criteria table, considering income level, activity capability, and experience.

However, recipients of livelihood benefits under the National Basic Livelihood Security Act, workplace subscribers to National Health Insurance, and those rated under long-term care insurance are excluded.

Those wishing to participate can apply in person by bringing the relevant documents to the eup/myeon offices or each executing agency.

Final successful candidates will be individually notified by each executing agency by the end of this month.

County Governor Lee Sang-ik stated, “We will do our best to discover quality senior job projects so that the elderly can lead a vibrant and active life in their later years.”
