[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Trainee Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education held the 'Vocational Education Innovation District Regional Education Cooperation Committee Meeting' on the 3rd.


The committee meeting was held to establish a platform for early employment and later learning for vocational high schools and to nurture talent in regional strategic industry sectors.


The Vocational Education Innovation District Regional Cooperation Committee is composed of the Deputy Superintendent of Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, the Director of Busan Digital Economy Innovation Office, related organizations, university officials, and vocational high school personnel.


The committee is an organization that shares the business direction and promotion plans of the Vocational Education Innovation District and provides advisory roles on the overall operation of the project.


The meeting proceeded in the order of awarding the cooperation committee appointment letter to Senior Committee Member Kim Jong-han of the Busan Human Resources Development Committee, introduction of the Vocational Education Innovation District project, report on progress and current status, and guidance on future plans.


The committee agreed to more solidly support early employment and later learning for vocational high school students and to cooperate in nurturing future regional talent for vocational high schools.


Oh Seung-hyun, Deputy Superintendent of Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, said, "We will promote vocational education projects such as establishing growth paths for early employment and later learning to support vocational high school students in achieving their dreams."
