The companies selected this time include a total of 83 companies such as ▲Samwoo MCP ▲Innopole Co., Ltd. ▲ABM ▲TCE Co., Ltd.
The selected companies will be certified as leading companies for three years.
The companies will receive support from over 40 linked projects, including ▲preferential loans and guarantees ▲special guarantees ▲financial linkage support such as working capital for small and medium enterprises ▲technology development support such as design, patent application, and commercialization support for regional software (SW) convergence products ▲domestic and international marketing and consulting.
The city plans to foster leading companies representing the seven strategic industries. Through this plan, it aims to revitalize the local economy by creating jobs and attracting local talent.
Since 2006, the city has annually selected companies with growth potential in each strategic industry as 'Strategic Industry Leading Companies.' The selected companies are supported to grow into Busan-type hidden champions and world-class global small giants.
A total of 88 companies have grown into global small giants. These companies have grown according to the city's corporate fostering plan and received about 70 billion KRW in national funding for research and development, marketing, and more.
Busan Mayor Park Hyung-jun said, “We will promote support measures and institutional improvements so that leading companies can innovate technology and focus on management, making Busan a city favorable for businesses.”
