The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH), and the Korea Agency for Infrastructure Technology Advancement announced on the 6th that they are recruiting lead institutions and participating institutions to join the 'Green Remodeling Regional Hub Platform.'
The Green Remodeling Regional Hub Platform is a cooperative system among specialized institutions by region to raise awareness and expand the base of the public building green remodeling project promoted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. A consortium must be formed with a lead institution that oversees and plans the project and participating institutions that directly carry out the project.
This year, the number of public buildings eligible for green remodeling support has increased from 821 buildings last year to 896 buildings. Eight lead and participating institutions (2 in the Seoul Metropolitan Area, 1 in Gangwon Area, 1 in Chungcheong Area, 2 in Jeolla Area, and 2 in Gyeongsang Area) will be recruited across five regions nationwide.
From the 6th to the 17th, applications can be submitted by completing the designated application form and project plan at the Green Remodeling Center of the Korea Agency for Infrastructure Technology Advancement and applying through the National Subsidy Integrated Management System.
An explanatory meeting will also be held on the 13th. Institutions finally selected in January next year through a separate selection committee will be active for one year.
