The counseling hours are from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM, with each examinee receiving 40 minutes of one-on-one counseling based on their CSAT score report and student records to help find universities and departments that match their aptitude and capabilities and assist in filling out the regular admission application.

A special exhibition offering a glimpse into the creative process of young artists has been set up at ‘Cultural Experiment Space Hosu’ by Seokchon Lake.

The exhibition, hosted by Songpa-gu (Mayor Park Sung-soo), will run until February 6 next year to provide residents with diverse cultural and artistic experiences and introduce talented young artists.

The exhibition titled ‘Writer’s Note.zip’ began with the question, “Would the appreciation of artworks change if visitors first encounter the artist’s notes?” It is a unique exhibition experimenting with whether interpretations differ when visitors see the artist’s notes before viewing the artworks.

The district displayed the artist notes of 47 teams selected through a prior call for submissions on the second-floor exhibition hall. These are young artists active in Songpa-gu or artists aged 19 to 39.

The exhibition space is filled with the text of the artist notes, allowing visitors to experience text as an artwork. Within this reversed exhibition space, visitors can indirectly feel the fresh perspectives of young artists and the struggles they face during their creative process.

The district selects a ‘Artist of the Month’ from among the participating artists to exhibit actual artworks. In November, visitors met the AR (Augmented Reality) work ‘A Certain Waiting, Under the Moonlight’ (2021) by artist Gime-su. In December, seven paintings including ‘Happy Puppy House’ (2021) by artist Park Da-ye will be exhibited in the first-floor Zero Lounge. On the second floor in the media room, projection mapping and installation work ‘&Credit’ (2021) by artist Lee Tae-heon, along with work sketch videos and archiving video projects, will be displayed.

Related experiential and educational programs are also offered. ‘Writer’s Note.page._Bookbinding’ allows participants to become artists themselves by binding their own desired notebooks. ‘Writer’s Note.mp3._Lecture Concert’ is a performance linked to the exhibition, where artists with their own writer’s notes share their creative stories interactively in a small-scale concert.

The exhibition is open daily from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM without reservation, except on Mondays when it is closed. Related programs can be applied for through the Seoul Public Service Reservation system.

Park Sung-soo, Mayor of Songpa-gu, said, “Believing that culture is the dignity and competitiveness of a city, we are expanding cultural spaces for residents and local artists centered around Seokchon Lake. We will continue to hold innovative exhibitions and performances so that everyone can experience diverse artistic experiences in daily life, thereby enhancing residents’ quality of life.”
