[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Galleria Department Store announced on the 2nd that this year, not only luxury brands but also furniture and home appliances gained popularity thanks to the 'stay-at-home' trend.
Galleria stated that analyzing sales of home appliances and furniture from the beginning of this year to November showed a 46% increase compared to the same period last year. Among these, furniture sales grew by 41%, continuing steady growth following 2020 (47%). Home appliance sales increased by 51% compared to the previous year, also maintaining a steady upward trend following last year (67%).
