On the 29th, Busan City announced that it held the 'COVID-19 Response Personnel Support Campaign' together with the Busan Mental Health Welfare Center to cheer on COVID-19 response personnel.

The city promoted this campaign to encourage COVID-19 response personnel amid the continuous increase in confirmed and critically ill patients.

The target group included about 3,500 COVID-19 response personnel working at health centers in 16 districts and counties, city hall, and local mental health welfare centers.

The target group also included employees of the Citizen Health Bureau at Busan City Hall, which serves as the COVID-19 control tower for Busan City.

Snack boxes containing various foods were delivered to the recipients.

Busan City has been promoting the 'Visiting Support Coffee Truck Campaign' and the 'Support Snack Truck Campaign' to prevent burnout syndrome and relieve job stress among personnel who have been responding to COVID-19 in the region.

Jo Bong-su, Director of the Citizen Health Bureau of Busan City, said, "We will continue to make efforts to prevent burnout syndrome among medical staff and employees working on the front lines of COVID-19 response."
