Seven Eleven Donates Sponsorship Goods to Navy Cruise Training Group

Seven Eleven delivered sponsorship goods to the Navy's cruising training squadron to support the '2021 Navy Cruising Training'.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Seven Eleven announced on the 25th that it delivered sponsorship goods to the Navy's Circumnavigation Training Squadron to support the '2021 Navy Circumnavigation Training.' The Navy Circumnavigation Training is a program designed to cultivate practical adaptation skills for fourth-year naval academy cadets who are about to be commissioned.

The sponsored goods consisted of food items worth approximately 10 million won, including snacks, ramen, processed foods, and beverages. Since the cadets have to live on the warship for an extended period, the items were mainly easy-to-enjoy foods.

Seven Eleven has been regularly sponsoring goods to the Navy Circumnavigation Training Squadron for seven years since 2015, with the total support amounting to about 100 million won to date.

A Seven Eleven representative said, "We understand that the Navy Circumnavigation Training is an activity that promotes the excellence of our country's navy worldwide through various military diplomatic activities. Although the situation is difficult due to COVID-19, we hope all cadets complete their training healthily and return safely, and we will continue to carry out various activities to support military personnel in the future."
