[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Sejong City announced on the 19th that Aramdal Rural Experience and Recreation Village in Dongnim area, Jeondong-myeon, was selected as an excellent village (2nd nationwide) in the Rural Personality School operation evaluation.
The Rural Personality School is a collaborative project between the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Education, designated and operated at 118 locations nationwide since 2013.
The purpose of operating the Rural Personality School is to revitalize youth character education and village areas by utilizing field experience learning facilities and educational programs established in rural villages and regions.
Since being designated as a Rural Personality School in 2018, Aramdal Village has been responsible for youth character education and creative experiential activities by utilizing tangible and intangible rural resources.
In this process, Aramdal Village has been evaluated as successfully promoting various projects under the slogan "Energy Recharge Healing Village," including traditional cultural experiences, domestic wheat food experiences, development and operation of promotional content, and cultural experience fam tours for foreign exchange students.
Meanwhile, the operation evaluation was conducted from August 31 to the 16th of last month targeting 35 Rural Personality Schools that have passed three years since their designation. A total of 12 Rural Personality Schools were selected as excellent villages through the evaluation.
