[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Shinhan Financial Hope Foundation announced on the 15th that it has opened the village campground Chimsan Chuwol in Chimsan Village, located in Jochiwon-eup, Sejong City, as part of the 'Regional Customized Job Project through Social Economy Promotion.'
The regional customized job project through social economy promotion is a program that supports village enterprises to continuously generate profits and create jobs by utilizing village open spaces and community centers.
The name of the village campground, Chimsan Chuwol, means "the moon viewed from Chimsan." Chimsan Village plans to provide various conveniences so that visitors to the campground can rest in beautiful nature.
Shinhan Financial Hope Foundation selected a total of three locations for support, including Chimsan Village, Sasang-gu in Busan, and Suncheon in Jeollanam-do, and plans to provide up to 4.5 billion KRW to the three regions for self-sufficiency projects of local residents and consulting for revitalizing the local economy.
A representative of Shinhan Financial Hope Foundation said, "We hope this project will help the local community, including job creation for Chimsan Village residents, to develop independently," and added, "Shinhan Financial Hope Foundation will continue to strive to have a positive influence on our society."
