[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Construction, a subsidiary of Korea Technology, a KOSDAQ-listed company (Chairman Kim Yongbin), announced on the 23rd that it will hold the 'Elcrew-TV Chosun Pro Celebrity 2021,' the first tournament in the 43-year history of the KLPGA Tour where professionals and amateurs compete together, for three days starting from the 24th at Island CC in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province.

In this tournament, 108 KLPGA Tour players will compete in the 1st and 2nd rounds, and in the final round, where the top 60 advance, they will form teams with 30 celebrities to compete.
Famous professional golfers participating include Jang Hana, who has recorded two wins this season, as well as winners this season such as Lim Heejeong, Ji Hansol, Kim Haerim, and well-known pros like Choi Hyejin, Lee Gayoung, and Yoo Hyunju.
The amateur (celebrity) list includes famous entertainers known for their excellent golf skills such as Tak Jaehoon, Lim Changjung, Kim Seongsu, Lee Jaeryong, and sports stars like Heo Jae, Lee Seungyup, and Lee Dongguk.
The total prize money is 600 million KRW (winning prize 120 million KRW). Professional players will donate 3% of their prize money, amounting to 18 million KRW, and the winning team will donate the entire 20 million KRW prize. Sponsors Nexen and HY will each raise up to 30 million KRW in donations through events at the 11th hole Saintnine Eagle Zone and the 17th hole HY Predit Zone, which will be delivered to neighbors in need of aftercare.
As special awards, the first hole-in-one record on the 12th hole (Par 3) will receive a Mercedes-Benz EQA250 worth 59.9 million KRW provided by The Class Hyosung, and the professional player who sets the course record will receive a prize of 2 million KRW from Island CC.
