[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Korea Ceramic Foundation appointed actress Lee Sun-bin as the official ambassador for the '2021 Gyeonggi World Ceramic Biennale' on the 1st.
Lee Sun-bin debuted in 2016 through the drama 'Madame Antoine' and won the MBC Drama Awards Best New Actress in 2017 for her role in the drama 'Missing Nine.' She has since starred in leading roles in the 2019 drama 'Special Labor Inspector' and the 2021 film 'Mission Possible,' gaining public love for her bright and positive image. Lee Sun-bin will actively participate in promoting the Ceramic Biennale and its exhibition programs going forward.
Choi Yeon, CEO of the Korea Ceramic Foundation, said, "Actress Lee Sun-bin, who has a passionate enthusiasm for acting and diverse charms, fits well with the newly transformed purpose and image of the 2021 Gyeonggi World Ceramic Biennale." He added, "We expect that Lee Sun-bin will break the stereotypes of the Ceramic Biennale and deliver new messages to visitors."
Meanwhile, the '2021 Gyeonggi World Ceramic Biennale,' hosted by Gyeonggi Province and organized by the Korea Ceramic Foundation, will be held under the theme 'Re:Start' from next month 1st to November 28th at the Gyeonggi Ceramic Museum (Icheon), Gyeonggi Living Ceramic Museum (Yeoju), Gyeonggi Ceramic Museum (Gwangju), and the Biennale online platform (kicb.co.kr).
