[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] The Ministry of Science and ICT announced on the 31st that it will issue an integrated notice for the second half of 2021 'Non-face-to-face Investment Briefing (IR)' scheduled for the 1st of next month to support ventures and startups in the ICT sector.
This non-face-to-face IR will be held a total of 12 times according to investor groups such as domestic VCs, telecommunications companies, large corporations and fund companies, and overseas VCs.
Companies wishing to participate in the non-face-to-face IR can obtain application forms and related information on the website of the National IT Industry Promotion Agency, and apply to the organizing institution for each investor group. ICT ventures and startups selected through the screening process by investor groups can receive linked support tailored to the characteristics of each investor group, including not only investment attraction but also pre-IR training and domestic and overseas market development.
An official from the Ministry of Science and ICT stated, “In the prolonged situation of COVID-19, non-face-to-face IR is becoming a new opportunity for ventures and startups,” and added, “We will support ventures and startups to continue growing through integrated support from investment attraction, guarantees, to market development in collaboration with domestic and international companies and investors.”
