Dongmyung University signed a business agreement on July 30 at Green Automobile Vocational School in Mora-dong, Sasang-gu, Busan, to foster outstanding talent in eco-friendly automobiles.

On July 30, Dongmyung University announced on the 3rd that it held a mutual business agreement ceremony between the two institutions at the Green Automobile Vocational School in Mora-dong, Sasang-gu, Busan, to foster outstanding talent in eco-friendly vehicles.
The goal is to unify specialized education suitable for the Fourth Industrial Revolution era, including sharing educational programs to train skilled technicians based on new eco-friendly vehicle technology education and certification acquisition.
About 10 officials, including Professor Oh Gap-seok (Head of the Department of Automotive Engineering at Dongmyung University) and Yoon Myung-kyun, Principal of the Green Automobile Vocational School, attended the agreement ceremony.
The university's Department of Automotive Engineering operates a high-voltage electric vehicle training course to cultivate eco-friendly vehicle professionals, supported with a total of 2 billion KRW by the Fourth Industrial Revolution Innovation Leading University Project Group.
Previously, they launched an electric vehicle high-voltage safety education Lv.1 (DGUV 200-006) certification acquisition program, which all participants successfully obtained.
Professor Oh Gap-seok said, “We will devote our efforts to nurturing professionals in electric and autonomous vehicles in line with the global paradigm shift in the automotive industry.”
Principal Yoon Myung-kyun stated, “To foster eco-friendly vehicle maintenance personnel, we opened a new building with an area of 5,000㎡ to expand maintenance education facilities and modernize existing training facilities.”
The school is conducting a differentiated education program to train maintenance technicians and has been selected as an excellent training institution by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
