'Cat Reading Picture Books' is a non-face-to-face reading support service that provides picture book screens and storytelling when a book card is inserted after connecting a cat device that reads picture books to a monitor.
It is expected to be widely used in daycare reading classes utilizing TVs, beam projectors, and other equipment.
The package provided to participating daycare centers consists of '1 device, 30 book cards, and a book card list,' containing picture books in various fields, including the early childhood Nuri curriculum.
Applications can be submitted by downloading the application form from the Seo-gu Integrated Library website starting from the 17th, filling it out, and submitting it via email.
A library official said, "We hope that children in the region can safely engage in reading activities through the non-face-to-face institutional loan service amid the ongoing COVID-19 situation."
