[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] The Lifelong Education Center at Mokpo National University (President Park Min-seo), led by Director Baek Ji-sook, announced that it will recruit students for the 2021 second semester lifelong education courses from the 2nd to the 27th of this month.
The courses offered cover six fields: humanities and social sciences, foreign languages, health and sports, counseling and children & youth, computer information, and culture & arts, totaling 126 courses including certified real estate agent training.
Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis with no qualification restrictions. Various tuition fee discounts are available for seniors (aged 65 and above), persons with disabilities, and basic livelihood security recipients. Tuition payment is also possible via the Lifelong Education Voucher Card.
The second semester courses will run for 15 weeks from the 2nd of next month until December 18th. Students who complete the courses will receive a certificate of completion issued under the name of the President of Mokpo National University.
Director Baek Ji-sook of the Lifelong Education Center stated, “To ensure the safety of students amid the spread of COVID-19, we will strictly adhere to government quarantine guidelines such as temperature checks, visitor management, classroom disinfection, and social distancing between seats. We will also do our best to operate high-quality educational programs.”
