[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Incheon Technopark (Incheon TP) announced on the 2nd that it will support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in participating in the government's Digital New Deal public offering projects.
The government has decided to invest 7.6 trillion won this year in Digital New Deal projects to accelerate digital transformation across the economy and society. The public offering projects conducted by 10 central ministries and related agencies, including the Ministry of Science and ICT, amount to 1.9 trillion won in scale.
Incheon TP plans to select about 20 SMEs in the Incheon area and support part of the costs incurred in applying for the government's Digital New Deal public offering projects.
The support targets SMEs applying for government Digital New Deal public offering projects in core technologies of the 4th Industrial Revolution, such as artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), big data, blockchain, virtual and augmented reality (VR·AR), and 5G applications.
Incheon TP will support up to 2 million won per company for costs incurred in producing presentation materials for applications, proposal presentation pitching consulting, product/service item demand and market research, and other related expenses.
Applications for support can be submitted by downloading the application form from the business support information provision site BizOK, filling it out, and submitting it along with the relevant documents.
