[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Namsan Park in Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam, is being reborn as a space for healing and experience.

According to the county on the 30th, the Namsan Park Healing Camp project, which started in 2014, had been delayed due to administrative procedures such as compensation for incorporated land, designation of the target site, and changes in the access road route, but the project officially began after the completion of the urban planning road last year.

According to the project, a camping site, picnic area, and parking lot will be created in Namsan Park, and a tunnel with lighting reminiscent of Goseong's autumn and an observatory offering a panoramic view of the city will be built.

Additionally, photo zones, resting areas, a small performance hall, a talking tree, smart media glass, and a four-season sliding sledding area will also be provided.

Currently, the construction of the access tunnel and parking lot within the park is underway, aiming for completion this year, and the entire project is scheduled to be completed in 2023.

Baek Doo-hyun, the county governor, said, "We will do our best to develop Namsan Park into a tourism resource where residents exhausted by COVID-19 can heal and enjoy leisure, contributing to revitalizing the local economy and creating jobs."
