[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Pulmuone is partnering with the Catholic University Yeouido St. Mary's Hospital Brain Health Center and Michelle Food to develop foods that help brain health.

On the 30th, Pulmuone announced that it signed a business agreement for joint research and development of foods that aid brain health with the Yeouido St. Mary's Hospital Brain Health Center and Michelle Food, an affiliated institution of the Catholic Academy.

The signing ceremony, held on the 29th at Michelle Food headquarters in the Pyeonghwa Building, Seocho-gu, Seoul, was attended by Pulmuone CEO Hyo-yul Lee, Pulmuone Green Juice CEO Ki-seok Kim, Pulmuone Technology Institute Director Sang-yoon Lee, Yeouido St. Mary's Hospital Catholic Brain Health Center Director Hyun-guk Lim, Professor Haeran Na of the same center, and Michelle Food CEO Father Sang-soo Park.

This agreement was promoted with the shared recognition that, due to the recent increase in the elderly population, the incidence of dementia and the resulting social costs are rising, necessitating social support for dementia prevention, and with the aim of developing foods that help brain health to encourage consistent consumption.

Through this agreement, Pulmuone will plan and develop foods that aid brain health in consultation with the Yeouido St. Mary's Hospital Brain Health Center and Nutrition Team, together with Michelle Food. The products will be introduced in various categories such as lunch boxes, beverages, and health functional foods.
