Chinese actor Yu Xiaoguang (于曉光), husband of actress Choo Ja-hyun, recently apologized for the cheating controversy. On the 17th, he wrote on social media, "After watching the video, I reflected deeply and regretted it." He expressed, "I don't know how to put into words the guilt I feel in my heart," and added, "No matter how good friends or close the relationship, I should have been more careful, and I should have known that such behavior could cause misunderstandings." He wrote, "Above all, I hurt Ja-hyun, who loves and supports me so much, and caused worry to those who care about us."

Yu Xiaoguang met Choo Ja-hyun while working on a Chinese drama and married her in 2017. He appeared on SBS variety show 'Same Bed, Different Dreams,' showing a caring and warm side to his wife, gaining much love not only in Korea but also in China. However, recently, a video of him letting a woman sit on his lap in a vehicle spread online, sparking a privacy controversy.

He promised, "As a husband and father, I will be more cautious with my words and actions and will never cause such worries again." Choo Ja-hyun also shared on social media that day, "I strongly reprimanded him for his reckless behavior. He is reflecting deeply and becoming fully aware."
