In response, Kim said, "It seems that Mayor Oh Se-hoon and the People Power Party are making a lot of efforts, but it doesn't seem to be working well." he replied.

On that day, Hong, who visited the studio in person, said, "The Seoul mayor has changed, so why am I still not fired and still doing this?" Kim burst out laughing and said, "That's right," adding, "I'm also curious (why I'm not fired)."

Hearing this, Hong said, "Mayor Oh has become more gentle. If I had held the position of Seoul mayor, I would have fired Kim Eo-jun first." Kim then said, "(Mayor Oh) must have lacked power. I think this matter is settled, so let's move on."

Meanwhile, Hong evaluated that Kim Geon-hee, the wife of former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-youl, made a "fatal mistake" by directly denying the so-called 'Yoon Seok-youl X-file' allegations.

Previously, Kim Geon-hee refuted allegations that she worked as a hostess under the stage name 'Julie' at an entertainment bar in Gangnam, Seoul, calling it "an outrageous story" and saying, "This is just someone writing a novel."

Regarding this, Hong said, "Since she opened the door with her own mouth, now the public will persistently try to verify the authenticity, won't they?" He added, "This is not something to respond to, but it was objectified and generalized too early. What benefit would it really bring to former Prosecutor General Yoon?"

He continued, "After seeing the interview released yesterday, I thought it was a wrong judgment," and added, "Such an issue is not something even opposing politicians should mention." he elaborated.

Also, Hong responded that he has "no interest" in Yoon's recent actions. He emphasized, "No matter what actions or words former Prosecutor General Yoon takes, I am not particularly interested. I do not care about any decisions he makes. I will just proceed according to the plans and course I have set."
