CareLabs Goodoc, 1st Anniversary of Physical Division... "Monthly Usage Grows Rapidly by 122%"

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Goodoc, a subsidiary of Carelabs (CEO Park Kyungdeuk, Im Jinseok), announced on the 1st that it has continued rapid growth across all business sectors over the past year since its physical division, including performance, number of service users, and app activation.


On the day marking the 1st anniversary of the physical division, Goodoc revealed growth performance indicators of its service. Goodoc was spun off as a 100% subsidiary from Carelabs' business division last July to enhance business efficiency.

The company stated that the hospital visitor pre-booking and registration service, which started in 2017 and has become Goodoc’s main service, increased by 10 million uses in one year, surpassing a cumulative 20 million uses as of June. In particular, the number of hospital reservation and registration uses, which has been rapidly increasing since last October, is recording an average monthly growth rate of about 122%.


Goodoc analyzed that overall user indicators have grown evenly by securing partnerships with hospitals nationwide, including expansions in affiliated medical departments such as beauty treatments, manual therapy, ophthalmology, dentistry, and orthopedics, as well as first, second, and third-tier affiliated hospitals. Compared to the previous year, the number of user hospital reviews increased by 151%, and in-app search volume, which shows app activation, rose by 54%.


Park Kyungdeuk, CEO of Goodoc, said, “Over the past year, with the mindset of ‘Goodoc, a startup again,’ I express my gratitude to all employees who have quietly worked hard behind the scenes, as well as all users and stakeholders of the Goodoc service who have given unwavering support and feedback.” He added, “Having set a record for the highest monthly sales since its founding last May and entering another phase of rapid growth, Goodoc will strengthen collaborative relationships through B2B business promotion targeting affiliated hospitals, while growing into a one-app platform encompassing all healthcare areas through non-face-to-face medical care, e-commerce, and PHR services.”


Goodoc is the largest non-face-to-face medical service platform in Korea, with 7.5 million cumulative downloads and 2 million cumulative members. Since 2019, Goodoc has introduced social services such as the ‘Corona Scanner,’ which tracks COVID-19 confirmed patients’ movements, and the ‘Mask Scanner,’ which allows real-time mask stock checking. Recently, through its app service, Goodoc has been providing the ‘COVID-19 Simple Vaccination Certificate Service,’ striving to launch user convenience services aligned with government guidelines.
