Over 160 Companies Participate in On- and Offline Job Fair... Preference for Candidates from Gyeonggi Region
[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] Lotte Department Store announced on the 27th that it will hold a large-scale job fair to hire about 2,000 employees to work at the 'Dongtan Branch' opening in the second half of the year and the premium outlet 'Time Villas.'
Lotte Department Store Dongtan Branch will conduct an online job fair for 45 days from the 28th to August 11th through the 'Lotte Department Store Dongtan Branch Recruitment Center' on the Job Korea website. About 100 companies, including brands entering the Dongtan branch and service companies such as facilities, safety, parking, and cleaning, will participate in this recruitment. The positions being recruited include brand store management (shop managers), sales staff, technical positions related to facilities and equipment, and safety and parking service positions, totaling about 1,000 people.
A job mentoring program for job seekers applying to the job fair will also be held simultaneously. Applicants will receive 'free resume consulting,' which provides diagnosis and level-based coaching and editing of self-introduction letters, and an 'AI interview mock test coupon' that offers an in-depth interview analysis report through AI interviews.
The premium outlet Time Villas will hold a 'Win-Win Job Fair' on the 1st and 2nd of next month at the National Sports Center located in Uiwang City to publicly recruit local talent. About 60 companies, including brands entering Time Villas and service companies such as environmental cleaning and facility maintenance, will participate, planning to hire up to 1,000 people in sales, parking management, and guidance service positions.
Considering the offline nature of the event, an online pre-reservation system will be introduced, and on-site, the flow from entry to exit will be operated in a one-way manner to prevent overlap among applicants.
This job fair was prepared through cooperation between Lotte Department Store, Hwaseong City, and Uiwang City to resolve the sluggish local economy and job shortage caused by COVID-19. In addition, as part of regional win-win efforts, applicants from the Gyeonggi region will be given preferential treatment in hiring.
Lotte Department Store Dongtan Branch is a new department store opening after 7 years by Lotte Department Store, scheduled to open in August with a total floor area of 240,000㎡ in Dongtan New City. Time Villas, opening in Uiwang City in September, offers relaxation and shopping in nature through new interior spaces harmonized with the natural environment such as Baegun Lake and Barasan Mountain.
