Muan-gun Extends 10% Discount on Muan Sarang Gift Certificates Until Year-End

[Muan＝Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan County, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 24th that it will extend the 10% special discount sales period for the Muan Love Gift Certificate until the end of this year to help residents and small business owners struggling due to COVID-19.

The extension period is from next month until December, and the purchase limit per individual is 1 million KRW per month (combined for paper and mobile certificates).

By type, paper gift certificates can be purchased up to 500,000 KRW per month, and mobile (card, QR) gift certificates can be purchased up to 1 million KRW per month.

Paper gift certificates can be purchased at 42 sales agencies within the county, and mobile gift certificates can be purchased (recharged) through the Local Gift Certificate Chag Mobile app and at NongHyup and Saemaeul Geumgo agencies.

In particular, the income deduction rate for traditional market usage during year-end tax settlement is 40%, so when purchasing and using the Muan Love Gift Certificate, you can simultaneously receive a 10% discount on the certificate and a 40% income deduction benefit.

Governor Kim San said, “The extension of this special discount period is expected to greatly help reduce household burdens and revitalize the local economy,” and added, “We will continue to implement various support policies that residents can feel.”
