The caregiver vocational training has been conducted since 2016 to strengthen employment capabilities for the unemployed and job seekers in the region, and its popularity is increasing as the demand for long-term care services rapidly rises in the aging society.
This training aims to solve the unemployment problem of middle-aged and older adults who urgently need employment and to prepare for employment demand in caregiving institutions and home care by selecting 30 vulnerable job seekers and fully supporting the training costs required to obtain the caregiver certification.
The selection targets are low-income groups vulnerable to employment and youth under 45 years old, with priority given to trainees with a strong will to work.
The training will be conducted at Cheongram Caregiver Training Institute, a professional caregiver training institution, from August 16 to September 24, consisting of a total of 240 hours of theoretical education and field practice required for caregivers.
A county official said, "Through this training, we plan to continuously support obtaining the caregiver certification, which is considered a promising job in the aging era, and linking it to employment."
