On the 17th, President Moon shared a post from the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) on social networking service (SNS) announcing that the number of first-dose recipients reached 14 million, emphasizing, "14 million!!!"

Currently, President Moon is on a state visit to Spain.

The KDCA stated that "the cumulative number of first-dose vaccinations has exceeded 14 million, surpassing the first half-year target," adding, "One in four citizens has completed the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccination."
