Korea Expressway Corporation announced on the 16th that it reported this plan to improve public life services to the National Assembly's Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee. Until now, when tolls were unpaid, notices were received by mail and payments had to be made at service areas or banks, causing significant inconvenience.

The Expressway Corporation has enabled checking unpaid tolls through KakaoTalk or Naver apps, and diversified payment methods to include automatic response system (ARS), virtual accounts, and convenience stores such as GS25. By the end of next month, the payment channels will be expanded to include CU convenience stores, and from September, tolls can be paid without membership registration using QR codes or URL links.
