SC Jeil Bank "Get Gift Certificates and Preferential Exchange Rates When Subscribing to Foreign Currency Products"

[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] SC First Bank announced on the 16th that it will hold the 'Foreign Currency Triple Plus Event,' offering gift certificates and preferential exchange rates to customers who subscribe to foreign currency products.

SC First Bank will provide a mobile Shinsegae gift certificate worth 50,000 KRW to customers who newly subscribe to a dollar foreign currency deposit by the end of this month and maintain an average balance of over 30,000 USD next month. For those maintaining over 100,000 USD, a 100,000 KRW gift certificate will be given. Each offer is limited to the first 5,000 customers. However, the customer's total dollar foreign currency deposit must increase by the event amount compared to the balance at the end of April.

Customers who have not transacted with SC First Bank as of the end of April can participate in the foreign currency investment product event. Gift certificates will be given to those who subscribe to foreign currency investment products such as dollar offshore funds. For new subscriptions over 30,000 USD, a 50,000 KRW gift certificate is provided, and for 100,000 USD, a 100,000 KRW certificate is given. Each is limited to the first 500 customers and must be maintained until the end of July. Participation can overlap with the foreign currency deposit event.

Customers eligible for both events will also receive preferential exchange rate benefits. Up to 90% preferential exchange rates can be applied at branch exchange rates.

Colin Chiang, Head of Asset Management Division (Executive Director) at SC First Bank, emphasized, "This is an opportunity for foreign currency asset investment customers to simultaneously receive gift certificates and preferential exchange rate benefits," adding, "We hope customers will invest in foreign currency assets together with SC First Bank."
