[Weather] Scorching Heat Continues... Afternoon Showers in the Southern Region

[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] On the holiday of the 13th, daytime temperatures across the country will rise to 30 degrees Celsius, showing midsummer heat.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the central region will be mostly clear, while the southern region and Jeju Island will have many clouds. During the day, temperatures will rise to 31 degrees in Seoul, 31 degrees in Daejeon, 30 degrees in Daegu, 30 degrees in Jeonju, 30 degrees in Gwangju, 27 degrees in Yeosu, and 26 degrees in Busan.

As temperatures rise during the day, unstable atmospheric conditions will cause showers in some inland southern areas from noon to evening, and raindrops will fall in some inland areas of the Chungcheong region.

Along most coasts and Jeju Island, sea fog will flow in, causing dense fog with visibility below 200 meters in many places until the morning.

In other inland areas, fog with visibility below 1 km will occur, so caution is needed for traffic safety.

The Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "On roads adjacent to the coast and bridges such as Seohae Bridge, Yeongjong Bridge, and Incheon Bridge, visibility may drop to around 50 meters, so when driving, please maintain sufficient distance between vehicles and reduce speed to prevent collision accidents and other damages."

On the 15th, the whole country will be mostly cloudy. During the day, raindrops will fall in the eastern coastal areas of Gangwon and the northern eastern coastal areas of Gyeongbuk, and rain will fall in Jeju Island at night.
