Contributing to Property Protection for Traditional Market Small Business Owners through Nighttime Real-Time Intelligent Surveillance
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Changwon City in Gyeongnam announced on the 3rd that it will expand nighttime monitoring by linking 105 CCTVs within five traditional markets to the integrated control center.
The monitored CCTVs include 105 units linked in 2020 at five locations such as Myeongseo Market, and this year at Daedong Family Co-op Shopping Center, Masan Fish Market, Shinmasan Market, Jeongwoo Sae Fish Market, and Changdong Integrated Shopping Center.
Real-time monitoring using an intelligent control system is expected to greatly contribute to protecting the property of small business owners by enabling immediate response to various incidents and accidents.
Additionally, the city will install lighting at key locations within the traditional markets to notify real-time monitoring from the integrated control center, delivering a strong warning message to criminals.
The Changwon City CCTV Integrated Control Center has played a role in safeguarding citizens' safety, having apprehended seven offenders, including nighttime car thieves, as of the end of May this year.
