Lundrigo Acquired by US Laundry Smart Factory Company for $3 Million

Acquisition of A-Plus Machinery in New York, USA... Expansion into Smart Factory Construction Sector

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Uisikju Company (CEO Cho Sung-woo), which operates the mobile laundry service 'Laundrigo,' announced on the 2nd that it has acquired a U.S. laundry EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) company, gaining the technology to build a world-class smart laundry factory.

Uisikju Company acquired A+ Machinery, a U.S.-based laundry factory EPC specialist located in New York City and established in 1998, for 3 million USD. EPC stands for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction. With this acquisition, Uisikju Company can now independently carry out factory construction from smart laundry factory design to equipment procurement, distribution, and construction, successfully vertically integrating the entire value chain of laundry services.

Laundrigo plans to introduce an automatic garment dispatch system tailored to customers within the first half of the year, and in the future, it aims to expand into the development of laundry equipment and systems such as washing machines, dryers, and dry cleaning machines, as well as overseas laundry factory construction. CEO Cho Sung-woo stated, "The laundry industry has similar customer needs compared to other sectors, making it easier to establish global standards and increasing the likelihood of success in the global market," adding, "We will continue to secure core technologies and do our best to innovate the essentials of life through laundry."

Meanwhile, Laundrigo is currently constructing its second smart laundry factory in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, using proprietary technology, and plans to expand its service areas to Songdo, Gwangmyeong, Gimpo, and Paju within the first half of the year.
