[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] SK Magic announced on the 25th that it will launch the 2021 model Triple Care Dishwasher (DWA-19R0P, 19C0P, 19C1P) with significantly enhanced functions and performance.
According to SK Magic, the countertop-type Triple Care Dishwasher is the first product in Korea to combine dishwashing with drying and storage functions. It sterilizes and cleans 99.999% of various harmful bacteria and viruses, and the high-temperature, high-pressure water spray cleans every corner without blind spots. The drying and storage functions are improved to allow standalone drying. The company explained that drying alone can achieve 99.9% sterilization.
Additionally, this product has won the CES Innovation Award as well as main awards at the world’s top three design awards: the Red Dot Design Award and iF. Notably, it was the first dishwasher in the world to receive the highest honor, the Gold Award, at the 2020 IDEA Design Awards, gaining international recognition for its technology and design competitiveness.
SK Magic is offering a 10-year free warranty on the motor for the first time in its class with this new model, along with performance improvements. The core component of the dishwasher, the BLDC (Brushless DC) motor, is guaranteed for 10 years, and in case of motor-related failures, free repair or replacement will be provided.
The company added that the storage function’s ‘Care Program’ has been enhanced by adding a hot air drying feature, further strengthening drying and care performance. The functions are more segmented into Smart, Baby, and Hot Air modes, providing a customized management solution optimized for the user’s lifestyle for 48 hours.
