GS25 will sell a limited quantity of 100 bottles of the 2002 vintage French wine from the "Five Great Ch?teaux."
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] GS25 announced on the 17th that it will sell 100 bottles of the 2002 vintage French '5 Grand Ch?teaux' wine in limited quantities this month in celebration of Family Month and Coming-of-Age Day.
The 5 Grand Ch?teaux?Ch?teau Margaux, Ch?teau Latour, Ch?teau Haut-Brion, Ch?teau Lafite Rothschild, and Ch?teau Mouton Rothschild?are considered the highest quality first-growth wines representing the Bordeaux region of France. Due to high demand from wine enthusiasts worldwide, securing sales quantities domestically is itself a challenging task. In particular, the 2002 vintage 5 Grand Ch?teaux are premium wines verified by renowned global wine critic Robert Parker and wine media Wine Spectator, each receiving an average score of over 90 points.
These products will be sold at discounted prices ranging from 1.29 million to 1.93 million KRW, up to 66% off, until the end of this month. Customers can select and prepay for wines through the Wine25 Plus smart liquor order service available on The Pop app, then choose the store and date for pickup.
Additionally, GS25 is showcasing large-sized wines through the 'Home Party Magnum Wine Promotion.' Eighteen types, including Magnum (1.5L), which is twice the size of a regular wine bottle, and Double Magnum (3L), four times the size, are being sold at discounts of up to 73% until the end of this month.
A GS Retail official stated, “In celebration of Family Month and Coming-of-Age Day, we are presenting premium vintage wines from the respective years as meaningful gifts for special occasions. We will continue to provide many opportunities for customers to easily purchase premium wines that are hard to find in the market anytime and anywhere through Wine25 Plus.”
