Russia to Increase Regular Flights to Korea Starting from the 25th

Route Connecting Seoul and Five Cities Including Vladivostok

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Russia has decided to increase the number of regular flights to South Korea.

According to TASS news agency, Russia's COVID-19 Crisis Center announced on the 15th (local time) that "the number of regular flights to South Korea will be mutually increased starting from the 25th."

The routes mentioned by the Crisis Center are Seoul (Incheon)-Vladivostok three times a week, and Seoul-Habarovsk, Seoul-Irkutsk, Seoul-Novosibirsk, and Seoul-Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk once a week each.

Russia had completely suspended international passenger flights in March last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, the Seoul-Moscow route resumed operations once a week on September 27 of last year.

The Crisis Center also stated that regular flights between Finland and Japan will be increased starting from the 25th.
