[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] A man in his 40s who stabbed a passerby to death with a weapon after being refused a request to "lend 1000 won" has been arrested.
On the 6th, Shin Yong-moo, the chief judge in charge of warrants at the Seoul Eastern District Court, issued an arrest warrant for A (42), who is accused of murder, stating, "There is a risk of flight."
A is accused of stabbing a man, B (64), multiple times in the chest and back while walking in a residential area in Cheonho-dong, Gangdong-gu, around 7 p.m. on the 4th. B was taken to the hospital but died.
During the police investigation, A stated that he asked the victim, whom he met for the first time, to "lend 1000 won," and when refused, he wielded the weapon. After the crime, A called 112 himself and was caught.
