Busanjin Police Station Buam District Police Officer Tests Positive After Sore Throat

Busan Police Agency announced on the 16th that the officer experienced a sore throat and other symptoms, took sick leave, returned to work, and then tested positive for COVID-19 after undergoing another test.
The police disinfected the precinct and temporarily closed it. They are conducting COVID-19 tests on the officers belonging to the precinct after self-quarantine.
A representative of Busanjin Police Station said, “Due to the closure of the precinct, we will directly handle 112 emergency calls and patrol activities for the time being to prevent any inconvenience to citizens.”
