Gwangju TP Selected as an Excellent Institution in Anti-Corruption Policy Evaluation

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Gwangju Technopark (hereinafter Gwangju TP) announced on the 8th that it was selected as an excellent institution in the ‘2020 Anti-Corruption Policy Evaluation for Autonomous Districts and Public-Related Organizations’ promoted by Gwangju Metropolitan City, winning institutional and individual awards.

This evaluation was conducted under the supervision of the Gwangju City Audit Committee targeting autonomous districts and public-related organizations.

Gwangju TP was selected for excellent institution and individual awards through the implementation of 18 core tasks carried out to prevent corruption.

In particular, following the establishment and certification acquisition of the ISO 37001 system, an international anti-corruption standard certification system, in August last year, the institution established preemptive improvement measures for nine cases with high corruption risk, enhancing the institution’s integrity status by spreading awareness of a clean organizational culture.

Additionally, each department regularly operated Integrity Practice Leaders to discover and share ways to improve integrity through communication among integrity practitioners, thereby strengthening participation in integrity work and interdepartmental collaboration. Efforts such as implementing the Integrity Mileage system as part of introducing integrity performance incentives allowed all executives and employees to participate in integrity activities, which were also recognized.
