- Honored with the Minister of Health and Welfare Award for Consistent Contributions Brightening the Local Community
Afrozone (CEO Cha Sang-bok) achieved the grand prize by being selected in the "Best Quality Management" category at the "2021 Korea Best Management Awards." Along with this, the company also received the "Minister of Health and Welfare Award" for its consistent social contribution activities over nine years, leading the development of local communities.
The "2021 Korea Best Management Awards," hosted by Maeil Business Newspaper's website Maekyung.com and sponsored by Maeil Business Newspaper, MBN, the Ministry of Science and ICT, and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, held its 6th ceremony on the 4th at The Plaza Hotel Seoul. Despite difficult economic conditions, the awards recognized institutions, public enterprises, and large and small-medium enterprises that maintain leadership in their sectors through warm management. Winners were selected based on evaluations across 17 categories including vision, strategy, activities, contributions, and achievements.
In this context, Afrozone was selected in the "Best Quality Management" category for realizing customer satisfaction through cosmetics containing stem cell culture fluid and the beauty device "Airbrush System," which maximizes product effectiveness, continuously upgrading products through technology development and innovation.
Based on high quality, the "Rubicell Intensive 4U Ampoule," which has been sold at a rate of one bottle every 7 seconds (calculated from June 2012 to May 2020) and has received much love from consumers, was internationally recognized for quality by winning the gold medal for five consecutive years (2016?2020) from Monde Selection, the world's most prestigious quality evaluation organization based in Belgium.
Additionally, the "Airbrush System," which has undergone three renewals to upgrade design, technology, durability, and safety, has continuously strived for quality improvement by gaining trust and excellence in patented technology, including publishing academic papers.
In 2018, Afrozone published consecutive papers in the Korean Journal of Beauty Science, a journal registered with the National Research Foundation of Korea, such as "Study on the Efficacy of Adenosine-Utilizing Airbrush as a Home Care Device for Skin Improvement" and "Study on the Efficacy of Whitening Functional Ingredients-Utilizing Airbrush as a Home Care Device for Skin Improvement." Related papers were also published in the international journal "Biomedical Dermatology," attracting attention.

Moreover, for the past six years, Afrozone has held the Rubicell Love Sharing New Year Concert, donating all proceeds to the Community Chest of Korea. Last year, to support COVID-19 victims, the company urgently provided 100 million KRW to vulnerable groups in Daegu and Gyeongbuk and was registered as the "Sharing Excellence Company Seoul No. 4" by the Community Chest of Korea in Seoul.
