LF, Official Distributor of US Shoe Brand 'Kiin' in Korea


[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] Lifestyle culture company LF announced on the 22nd that it will distribute the American footwear brand 'KEEN' in the domestic market starting from this spring season.


LF has signed a contract with the global outdoor footwear brand KEEN headquarters for import and sales in Korea. Currently, LF is managing brands such as Birkenstock, FitFlop, Cole Haan, and TOMS domestically. The company aims to build a diverse portfolio of footwear brands covering customers' overall lifestyles and to further strengthen its shoe import business.


KEEN is a footwear brand founded in 2003 in Portland, USA. It is rapidly growing in the outdoor markets of over 60 countries worldwide, including the US, Europe, and Japan. KEEN's flagship product, the ‘UNEEK’, is a uniquely designed outdoor sandal made only with two cords and a sole. The two cords covering the instep move naturally to fit the shape of the foot, providing a personalized optimized fit. It features a rubber outsole with excellent grip and a cushioned functional midsole, offering outstanding comfort. Additionally, there are innovative products suitable for summer outdoor activities such as the ‘NEWPORT’ and ‘ZERRAPORT’.


Starting from mid-next month, KEEN plans to launch online and offline distribution centered on LF Mall, a premium lifestyle specialty mall, and LF’s footwear specialty edit shop Raum Edition department store locations. The main product price range is in the low 100,000 KRW range. The company also plans to focus its capabilities on wholesale (B2B) business targeting domestic online and offline edit shops.
