[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Tada's franchise taxi service 'Tada Light' will start operations in Busan on the 7th.
According to Tada, 'Tada Light' is a franchise taxi service based on mid-sized taxis. It has introduced features such as immediate dispatch without ride refusals, a comfortable interior space, and a driver manual.
When a user calls a vehicle, artificial intelligence (AI) is used to dispatch the vehicle that can arrive the fastest, and immediate dispatch technology is applied so that the driver sees the destination only after boarding.
To use the service, first download the 'Tada' app, sign up with your phone number, and register a payment card. Then, on the main screen of the Tada app, set the departure and destination points and call a vehicle. You can check the estimated fare, route, and estimated arrival time in advance. When you get off at the destination, the fare is automatically charged to the registered card. The fare is applied the same as the general mid-sized taxis in the Busan area, and no call fee will be charged for the time being.
Tada Light also introduced a mutual rating system between users and drivers. After getting off, users can leave a rating from 1 to 5 points for the driver and can also give tips. Drivers can also leave ratings for customers. Based on the ratings, drivers who receive excellent scores will receive incentives of up to 300,000 KRW per month.
Park Jaewook, CEO of VCNC, said, "Since Busan was the region with the most service requests from Tada users, we hastened our entry," and added, "We will strive to provide mobility services that coexist with local transportation companies and uphold the basics of mobility based on Tada's technology and platform know-how."
