[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Min&Z announced on the 27th that it has been selected as one of the '2020 Asia 200 Best Under A Billion' by Forbes Asia, a business magazine specializing in economics. This is the third time Min&Z has been ranked among Forbes' promising companies, following 2017 and 2018.
Forbes annually evaluates approximately 24,000 listed small and medium-sized enterprises in the Asia-Pacific region with annual sales under $1 billion (approximately 1 trillion KRW), selecting and announcing 200 promising companies excelling in sales, net profit, and return on equity improvement. This year, a total of 18 Korean companies, including Min&Z, made the list.
Founded in 2009, Min&Z is a converged IT service company leading the personal information protection service sector, organically connecting various lifestyle platforms closely related to customers' daily lives to provide multidimensional services.
Min&Z aims to be a comprehensive lifestyle platform that enriches customers' daily lives by continuously launching experimental and innovative services. It has shown steady and steep growth since its establishment by successfully introducing services in various fields ranging from personal information protection to healthcare and mobility.
The growth of Min&Z this year reflects the synergy from collaboration with its consolidated subsidiaries, including fintech company SettleBank and probiotics specialist BioEleven. The simple combined sales of the three companies in the third quarter of this year amounted to 45.6 billion KRW, with an operating profit of 10.3 billion KRW, achieving the best performance since their founding not only for Min&Z but also for all subsidiaries.
