On the 28th, the '2020 Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards Ceremony' was held at Kyung Hee University Peace Hall in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul.
Hyun Bin received the Presidential Citation along with actress Kim Hee-ae, broadcaster Kang Ho-dong, musician Kim Ki-pyo, writer Kim Eun-hee, and actor Chun Ho-jin.
Hyun Bin, who led the Korean Wave drama with tvN's Crash Landing on You and received the Presidential Citation, said, "I am honored to receive such a great award," and added, "I will strive to be an actor who quietly conveys various roles and stories from my position and place."
He continued, "Currently, our country's popular culture and arts are receiving a lot of attention and love worldwide. I will also do my best to be of some help."
