[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Eun-young] Arnold Schwarzenegger (73), the actor and politician famous for the Hollywood action movie series 'Terminator,' has undergone heart surgery once again.
Foreign media reported, "He may be known as a robot assassin, but in reality, he is just human," revealing that Schwarzenegger recently underwent aortic valve replacement surgery at the Cleveland Medical Center in Ohio.
On the 23rd (local time), he posted on his Instagram, "Thanks to the Cleveland Clinic medical staff, I now have an aortic valve to move along with the new pulmonary valve from the previous surgery," along with a photo lying in bed giving a thumbs-up. This pose appears to reenact a famous scene from his signature film, Terminator.
He added, "Feeling fantastic, I am already walking the streets of Cleveland," and expressed gratitude, "Thank you to all the doctors and nurses on our team."
Schwarzenegger has a congenital heart condition and previously underwent heart surgeries twice, in 1997 and 2018.
Schwarzenegger debuted in 1970 as the 'Hercules of New York' and gained worldwide popularity with the Terminator movie series in 1984.
From 2003 to 2011, he served as the Governor of California, transforming into a politician as well.
Recently, he was spotted on a bicycle date in Los Angeles with his 27-years-younger girlfriend, physical therapist Heather Milligan.
